The Gallery at Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre is available for hire in the months of May and September, October and November. The Gallery measures approximately 10.5m by 7.5m and has a professional hanging system which can accommodate most Art pieces. There is good natural light and abundance of track lighting.

The Gallery provides an experienced person to hang the paintings. Exhibitions are mounted on the Tuesday, open on the Wednesday evening 7-9.00 and finish on the Sunday afternoon by 4.00pm.
There is also scope to host ceramic exhibitions on plinths and floor pieces in conjunction with wall mounted art work.

Exhibitions from national organisations such as Ceramics Ireland, Embroidery Artists and the Association of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers attract a large attendance.

Writer's Gallery

The Art Gallery doubles as Writer's Gallery outside of the Art Exhibition season. The Gallery is frequently used as a venue for other heritage and arts events.

Writers covered include: Bernard Farrell, Brian O’Nolan, Denis Johnston, Frank McGuinness, George Bernard Shaw, Gordon Snell, Hugh Leonard, J M Synge, James Joyce, Joseph O’Connor, LAG Strong, Lennox Robinson, Maeve Binchy, Monk Gibbon, Samuel Beckett, Annie Smithson, Criostoir O Floinn, Declan Hughes, Dennis Florence McCarthy, Don Conroy, Gerald Dawe, Katie Donovan, Martina Devlin, Nuala Ni Dhomnaill, Re Ó Laighleis, Kathleen Tynan.
