The heritage center... read more has done an amazing job of highlighting the history of Dalkey which is synonymous with the history of Ireland itself. The film before the tour was excellent. Then we learned more about the castle and its church ruins during which we interacted with 3 actors describing medieval life. They were just fantastic -- engaging, funny, and full of information! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Dalkey itself is a gem and the views from the top of the castle were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend prioritizing a trip to Dalkey and a tour of the castle!
